Chris Ewing
If you’re an Inkcups customer located in the Midwest, chances are you’ve had the pleasure to work with Chris Ewing for new machine installs and training sessions. He’s been part of the Inkcups crew since 2022, bringing over 5 years of hands-on experience in servicing all sorts of wide format flatbed inkjet printers.
Q. What is your role at Inkcups and how long have you been with the company?
As a field service engineer my role at Inkcups is all about supporting our customers. That involves traveling around the country to meet with customers in person to train them on our equipment or service the machines. When I’m not on the road it means providing support to customers who have questions or issues via email, phone, or other remote support avenues. I’ve only been with the company for about a year and a half, but I have a long history working with all kinds of inkjet and manufacturing equipment.
Q. What is your favorite part about your job at Inkcups?
My favorite part about my job at Inkcups is finding creative solutions to problems. Whether that’s something the customer previously thought they couldn’t do or finding a solution to a difficult machine issue. I like solving the puzzles that we run into on the service side of things.
Q. How do you like to spend your free time?
In my free time I’m kind of up for whatever. If I’m going out it could be to a ghost walk, cat video festival, sporting event, cultural festival, museums, concerts, comedy shows, or anything else you can come up with. At home I pluck around on the guitar, play video games, read, watch shows, or play with my cat. Since moving to Minnesota, I’ve spent more time in nature. I started going up north to camp, or ice fish depending on the weather. And I just started getting into graphic novels and comics, which is fun.
Q. What is something that everyone should know about Inkcups?
Everyone at the company is trying very hard to give our customers the best experience they can possibly have. I haven’t met anyone here who doesn’t care a lot.
Thank you Chris for sharing! It’s great to hear what drives our team both during the workday and outside of it. To learn more about all of the wonderful individuals that makes Inkcups what it is, please visit: Our Team
