ERP Systems Administrator

SUMMARY:
The ERP Administrator will ensure the reliable performance of ERP systems. Troubleshoots and resolves any ERP related hardware, software, user access or other problems. The ERP Administrator will participate in projects to gather user requirements, design, configure, test and implement ERP systems and applications.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:

  • As part of a broad cross-function team, play an integral role in learning, training and enhancing Infor/Syteline software
  • Review and determine how to ensure data quality using existing software control mechanisms, reviewing, coordinating and performing routine maintenance and application updates as required
  • Work with internal stakeholders, and external Infor/Syteline development team in continuous improvement efforts, coordinating system-wide updates, installing upgrades and patches for Infor/Syteline systems
  • Enter data in the ERP system from predefined sources / templates following the company rules and agreements
  • Develop and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BoM) to support production processes, ensuring alignment with product specifications and requirements
  • Create and manage production routers to guide the manufacturing process, optimizing workflow and resource utilization
  • Establish and maintain time standards for production processes, monitoring performance and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Coordinate the release of new parts into production, liaising with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to ensure seamless integration and timely execution
  • Implement quality control module features to include Gage Calibration, Non-Conforming Material Review, Supplier Score Cards and Supplier Corrective Action Requests
  • Systematically manage lot control tracking and manage materials throughout the production process, ensuring traceability and compliance with quality standards
  • Implement the quality control features to include Non-Conforming Material Review, Corrective and Preventive Action and Supplier Corrective Action.
  • Manage process improvement migrations from sandbox environment through production
  • Make the necessary corrections and problem solving to ensure data accuracy and solves problems within the production flow
  • Implement and maintain user ERP login rights and security

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • General knowledge of ERP applications and how they work for cross-functional areas such as finance, order management, engineering, warehouse/inventory and reporting.
  • Experience using Infor Syteline a plus.
  • Ability to speak both business process and technical process based on the audience that you are addressing, supporting or working with.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with functional leaders and team members to discover, document, design and implement business processes in an ERP application platform.
  • Basic project management skills that demonstrate your ability to build, manage and execute upon a plan – both in terms of self-management as well as working with a small process improvement team.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in ERP Administration in a manufacturing setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field or equivalent experience in relevant field
  • Capable of supporting multiple projects concurrently
  • Awareness in a multichannel distribution network and global supply chain a plus
  • Strong business acumen with broad analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge with using ERP systems as a tool to continuously drive and improve performance
  • Experience in improving productivity and performance, implementing, and sustaining continuous improvement methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma…) and application of best practices.
