The revolutionary Mimaki UJF-3042 inkjet LED UV printer produces high quality images (1200 x 1400 dpi) in brilliant colors. In its price range, this inkjet is the most powerful, productive and capable machine available on the market today.
The Mimaki UJF-3042 inkjet has the ability to print white. Moreover, the newly designed staggered print head allows printing white and colored ink in a single pass - producing a much sharper and brighter image on dark substrates. Other machines have to print a layer of white and a layer of color in two passes, which doubles production time. The inkjet also consumes significantly less power than previous Mimaki UJF models, requiring only 100v (3.5A).
The Mimaki UJF-3042 is a LED UV printer - it uses LED UV curable ink. While the regular UV ink requires heat to cure, LED UV ink cures by cool light. Curing ink with LED light is ideal for printing on delicate materials that could be affected by heat. With the UJF-3042, you can print on materials that were never possible before to inkjet print on.

DigiBond Primer

DigiBond is a specialized primer that allows UV inks to adhere to metal. For the nameplate industry, this primer finally makes inkjet printing a viable alternative to screen printing!
To use DigiBond, wipe it on the surface and flash cure it prior to applying UV inks.
Aluminum sheets pre-treated with DigiBond are also available.
