This UV inkjet printer packs a lot of advanced features of larger, expensive bottle printers into a much smaller, sleeker design. The DirectJet 1024 will fit into virtually any space including: work cells, offices, and gift shops. Capable of printing a diameter of 1" (25mm) – 5" (125mm) and a maximum print area of 24" (600mm) x 10" (250mm). Also, tapered tooling is available upon request to accommodate those oddly shaped bottles.
The DirectJet 1024 is one of the first bottle printers capable of printing in CMYK plus WHITE all in a single pass, significantly reducing total print time. Print an entire 360 degree wrap in only 3-4 minutes! This UV inkjet printer has only a 3pl droplet size, the smallest available on the market. The smaller the droplet size, the finer detailed the image can be. The specially formulated UV LED ink can adhere to a wide range of substrates including (but not limited to): glass, metal, and plastic.
The DirectJet 1024 UV inkjet printer can print at a maximum resolution of 5760 x5760dpi for stunning photographic quality images. A small vineyard can now create personalized wine bottles with an extraordinary photograph to cater to a particular customer. In the past, labels were printed and then stuck onto wine bottles, but why waste the time? Print directly onto the bottle! Personalized wine bottles are a big hit for any special occasion or gift.
The DirectJet 1024 UV inkjet printer doesn't just create personalized wine bottles, it also prints on a wide variety of drink ware. Plastic sports bottles, thermal bottles, drinking glasses, shot glasses or any cylindrical shaped object can be customized with any image or label you wish to print, the possibilities are endless. DigiBond Primer
- Enables Inkjet Printing on Metal, including Nameplates!
DigiBond is a specialized primer that allows UV inks to adhere to particular metals that may pose a challenge to adhesion.
To use DigiBond, wipe it on the surface and flash cure it prior to applying UV inks.
Aluminum sheets pre-treated with DigiBond are also available.
